We recently had our first BDA committee meeting for the year. It gave us impetus to reflect on some of the things that had been completed in 2015 and on things that had occurred during the last 6 months. Our PV school principal, Sr Anicia, has a serious illness and is currently away from the school. Our hearts and prayers go out to her and we wish her a full and speedy recovery.

In the meantime Sr Manisha, our wonderful Kiran Lamaji, one of our long serving teachers and soon another sister who will come from Mumbai to help out, have been looking after the school.

There have been a few other developments at the PV school – the grounds look quite different now as the monastery next to the school has built some additional dwellings close to the boundary wall. We often update photos on our Facebook pages:

Our friend and PVS supporter, Tom Riddle, has shared some wonderful news with us about a past student who has won a scholarship: the star of the “Day in the Life” movie of the PV school, Jyoti Kumari, won a scholarship to study computer engineering in Nagpur. She is apparently doing well. She wants, and, I would think, needs, a notebook computer.
